Odds of getting anything but the lowest amount

Does anyone have experience getting anything else but the minimum when buying character shards in the card shop? I have spent $300 on the game so far and have yet to get anything more than 5 shards. They do say that there is a chance to get anywhere between 5 and 30. Yet, I can only ever land 5. The same goes for other resources. Anyone been able to buy cries and actually get the1.5 million instead of the minimum 500k?
Seems like a top off!
  • So i decided to call EA customerservice.

Not for all the bugs, crazy droprates and other stuff that is not ok, but for the way it goes with purchases.

Ingame you have the option to buy resource (credits, shipbuilidingmaterials, trainingdroids) ship packages, characterpackages, etc.

In almost all of the purchases it says you have the oppurtunity to get an amount thats varies from a minimum and maximum.

For example; ''Fleet megapack; 2499 crystals''

It says you have the change to get between 5(minimum)-100 (maximum)shards.

After 8 months of playing and doing about aprox 200 ''ingame purchases'' i found out that 95% of the time you will always get the minimum.

so if you buy recources, packages or what so ever. Please understand that 95% of the time you will get the minimum

I contacted the customerservice and the guy that i spoke to, confirmed this is deceiving..
also when you put down this complain on the forum, moderators will ignore this and block you from the forum.

So moderator(s), if you read this; fix this and STOP deceiving (paying) customers!!!!
  • +1. And this favors whales that can afford to keep hitting the button without end. I ONLY throw $100-300/mo. Must be nice to be able to mitigate the lousy payouts.
I think there must be some policy/law/whatever about monetary purchases vs in game credit purchases. In the "Bundles" (for money), the principal item quantities are fixed. In the "Packs" (for credits) have variable amounts for everything. I think the regulations (?) are different once player's money is converted into game currency - certain protections aren't there anymore. Again, just my hunch.

That said, and to your point, I'm done losing money on the Packs. I simply won't purchase them anymore unless EA revamps how this works because I feel repeatedly ripped off. If I had more confidence in them I'D PROBABLY BUY THEM MUCH MORE OFTEN. Hopefully a Moderator will send this point up the chain rather than castigate for what everyone knows as fact. Make it more fair & consistent and they will come. Till then, I for one am done with the Packs. Werd to Big Berd!
  • Hate my first post on here is negative, but as a paying customer we do deserve to have our opinions about this subject. I've spent thousands on the game and have never, repeat never, had a maximum amount of any of the packs sold. This is false advertising and I will never buy a pack again unless it states exactly what is in the pack. The packs that cost money instead of crystals is actually a good deal. The crystal packs were made awful with the false hope of actually getting something in them. If moderators are banning people from forums because of telling people the TRUTH, then it's a shame on EA, SWGOH, and others. I'm a father of 3, respiratory therapist, active member of my church ( choir, praise band, church board). I'm not lying about this subject topic and better not get banned for writing it in a section to improve the game.
