One raid only rule

According what I’m reading about raids there is one big issue: one raid only rule.
1. If accumulate all rewards from all raids in one - it will be acceptable by value. (just add credits, mod slicing mats to crate)
2. Right now we should work on Krayt teams to get highest reward. But when new raid will be released all roster builded for Krayt goes where? And raid omicrons? Will be new raid more profitable then Krayt or will be the same? And what estimated time for new raid release? All this questions is critical with one raid rule.
  • The one raid at a time rule is a sham. If the new raid actually replaced the old system in terms of value and engaging content, it would be fine. But it fails on both counts.

It’s not only about new raid but about new system at all. Only one content will be available and all roster preparation that is done for current raid will be useless in future content.
As example, I could stop working on my goals and focus on Krayt teams. And after top 5 teams will be ready new raid will be released and my 5 teams wouldn’t be needed there. And new content again will be gated once more.
  • The one-raid-only rule is kinda hurting the guilds that aren't the couple hundred highest, and especially hurting the lower guilds like my 22-ish million GP guild that was quite easily running Rancor multiple times a month, plus the leader 1-hitting Challenge Rancor, plus dragging out Sith raid for weeks as we do those. Now? We can't do challenge rancor and we have to always do Rancor for the lower players now because of the new restrictions. The limiting factions and the new reward tracks and all, great, I'm actually happy to see it in action... but the one-raid-only and the 3 day wait? If that's how things are gonna be, I just might join the ppl calling for the old version back

A newbie guild being able to finish the CRancor raid was probably one of the reasons for its removal.

There are many issues with the new raid system, but preventing non-contributors from getting rewards isn't one of them. Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion.

The main reason I disagree with this is because that is an opinion that is already left to guild leadership. Remove players if contributing is important to you. But in a casual guild like mine, I have no problem with helping newer accounts that can’t get there on their own yet. Especially since some of them are literal family that we are passing important things on too, like how awesome Star Wars is.

I agree with this completely. We have some casual guilds in our alliance to help lower players get into the game. Even in my competitive guild, sometimes people need a day off for family, medical, or even vacation. One guy in my guild didn't do much in Krayt because his wife gave birth to their first child.

As an officer in the Guild, I had a discussion with the other officers that this raid feels like a prison sentence. No one is allowed to have time off or be away when the raid is going on. That was never the case with any of the other raids!

At one time CG said they were wanting to bridge the gap between low and mid-range players, and higher players. But everything they've done since then appears to have done the opposite.
  • @ShadowJediKnight, I totally agree that they just seem to be moving in the opposite direction
  • Same.

Not a newbie guild. We're like 2 established players plus several really low fellows lol
And been at it a while. I've been in the guild for... I actually dk, a while lol, but we're more casual so bigger or hyper-active players don't stay long.
