Quality of life

We are all struggling with changing mods from one character to another for various events. One thing that wastes a lot of time is just putting all the mods back in place once the event is over.
Would it be possible to get a system to mark the default mods mounted on a character and with a single button rearrange the whole roster?
Also it would be nice to be able to exceed the limit of 1000 unassembled mods, because nowadays, especially the older accounts, they have a lot of mods.
  • So glad I found this thread.
This has been my #1 QOL ask for a long time now.
An in game single full roster equipped mod snapshot.

When the new GAC update hit, it gave me hope that they would finally now do this and simply use the same underlying code to create what is needed (which they can, don’t try to muddy the waters by saying they can’t).

The biggest mod move event, for me at least, is LSTB where after getting each phase done I have to put mods back on a very large number of characters.
Also can hit the mod inventory limit with so many mods in an unequipped state.
I have created a system in game to achieve this semi efficiently but it still takes 10 to 15 minutes each time to remod my roster.

PLEASE prioritize this in the dev queue.
    Thank you!!

NOTE: HotUtils should not be continually suggested as a viable option as it clearly breaks the TOS and this should be done in game.
  • Actually, I have a question: why should CG make everyone's life easier by allowing them to move mods around in large numbers?

I could imagine the idea to gain an advantage at certain game modes by swapping mods is probably not a practice CG has thought about supporting anyway... I would not even be surprised when they designed the mod concept many years ago, mods are meant to be not removable at all

It would be more lucrative for them to push players to farm and upgrade more mods (and to spend more).

Then it makes no sense that you have to pay credits to move mods around.

Yeah, it's definitely intentional. I'm sure they even realize that if they made it easier to move mods, people would do it more. More moving, more credits, more crystals. I think they just really are unable to implement it for some reason.

My guess is, while something like this would definitely be nice, it would require an entirely new system to be build around the feature.

Folks are aware of Mod Management on the team.

My suggestion for your 1000 Mods is go through them and get rid of the ones that don't have any promise.

I'm currently sitting on 20 Mods that haev potential (Pre seeing if they get any good jumps)

But I will suggest that we look into a larger inventory or why it's set to 1000 .

The solution could also be much simpler, it would be enough to have a button in each configuration "add these mods" and I would already be super happy

Why would it be English if every else is in Spanish?

Edit: looking closer that's not spanish. Portuguese? Anyway, not important.
