Squad arena ranking is win to swap ranks and climb. Simple as that.
GP is a measure of resource investment not combat power.
Based on the relative stars and gear levels there is no way that squad beats the other two so either he has another more powerful squad he uses to climb or else something smells fishy.

OK, i understand. There has never been a question about that (rank swapping).
But why my ally is below my rank? Doesnt make sense...
But, i suspect that there are many "rooms" and each "rooms" has it's own ranks (it's #1, #2, #3 and so on).
This is the "room" i am in.
Do you see the same #1, #2, #3 on your side?
Does everyone see the same? If yes, my suspicion is wrong. If not, it explains why my ally is below my rank. Maybe, in his "room", there are many strong players.

This morning, i had beaten him. So he was #105 (swapped rank with me). But this afternoon, he climbed to rank #84...WHAAAAT? :open_mouth:
I beat him again, because it was an easy climbing.

But I don’t see the same list as you.
Periodically they close a squad arena list then open a new one (I think they do it when each list reaches 10,000 players, but could be wrong).
Ahhhh, thanks for the info. Sooo, there are indeed some "rooms". Because that is what happening at Plant VS Zombie 2, another EA game.

In this game, the "rooms" you're referring to are called shards. New players are put into a shard until that shard fills up (I think it's roughly 10000 players per shard? someone correct me if that's wrong), then a new shard opens for the next group of new players. The same is true for fleet arena. GAC differs from this in that there are no shards - everyone is in the same GAC competition.
The guy you are referring to looks like he's probably cheating unless he's using one team to climb and switching to another team to sink for some reason. There's no possible way he's winning matches legitimately with that team.
Edited the photos of the guy out for potential naming and shaming. While it's possible to change teams after climbing, this does seem fishy. I'd tell you to feport him via private message to CG_LucifersDaddy, but it sounds like TVF already did that.
I thought shards were 20,000, but it's possible they were changed to 10,000 at some point. My starting rank when I first entered squad arena in 2016 was 16k and some change.

There are lots of those. We call them shards. Unless you've added your ally from your shard, they'll be in another shard. Your shard consists of people that unlocked arena around the same time as you.
So, is every1 trapped in his own shard/room?
If that is the case...the p2p will always be at the top and the f2p will be at the bottom.

Why does the game need a report? I posted the suspect in this forum, i am sure there are some game staffs here (the mods at least)...so why dont they/you just act?
And asking permission to put back the picts, so the posts dont become incomprehensible. I put edited picts now. You are welcome to remove them again, if you choose to deny my permission. Thanks.

Yeah I thought so too, at least 2 years ago it still was when I started. I started at 17000 something.
