Qui Gon Jinn needs balancing?

No, he doesn't. He is a good character, and has strong attacks. He can really help a team, especially other Jedi. But he can easily be stunned by Dooku (who attacks before QGJ at the right level), leaving him open to be one- or two-hit killed himself.

This is just a discussion and I'm glad we can agree to disagree. If you need Dooku to play against QGJ teams and to stun QGJ, how is this different from the Poe meta we had?

QGJ and GS are fine just how they are. I dont use either of them and still make 1st each day in one of the toughest servers.

I guess my reaction was a little knee-jerk, and we can certainly agree to disagree. For me, I guess, the only time I see a toon as unbalanced is when there are no realistic counter-strategies except using that toon yourself (a la the Poe meta). Dooku was simply the first idea that came to mind. I am sure other players have their preferred methods.

My point being, if there are viable counter tactics available to everyone, I personality cannot call such a toon unbalanced. But just as I said regarding your own point of view, a little hamfistedly, my having an opinion doesn't make it correct.

Well you have a point there.

I never have a problem facing qgj before coz I have dooku to stun him first but that doesnt mean I want everyone to have dooku just becoz of qgj.

From my point of view is that his leader skill practically are for himself as many other jedi are not that good and too slow to keep up with others. His assist 'might' be too much since that extra 75% are like extra crit or something. Very versatile with the buff removal and not to mention the extra offense up. But overall i still dont think his that op just because his own damage are not that great, his hp is small and the assist are kinda random, if a lesser damage toon assist him than it wont kill you in one hit. He is a very good supporter and thats all i can say about him. (Still like my dooku better though)

As leader, he would be the fastest high DPS. But Leia would be faster with Ackbar leader. Should she be nerfed too? And if QGJ is nerfed, then Leia becomes the fastest high DPS even without a leader skill. And if Leia is off limits to nerfing so long as she is chromium-only, GS is the next fastest high DPS. So will he need to be nerfed too?

+1 to this. The nerf will be never ending. Rather than nerfing a character, i think they should improve more on how to change the meta of speed and damage. I would really like to make a team of tank for a change.

The Humbling Blow ability itself, upon receiving ranks, turns into a massive advantage with having an on-demand Offense Up. We want the Offense Up mechanic itself to stay but through providing strategic choice in order to obtain it.

Humbling Blow: acquiring the Offense Up positive status effect now requires that a successful dispel occurred on an enemy target.

As so many have said before me...No, QGJ is fine. He is powerful but beatable by any comp/team. It isn't like he is Poe breaking the game like before. Run some sith if you want to counter QGJ and Jedi. Stop asking for nerfs.

What about when his leader skill applies to all units? Will be be broken then?

You do realize that some character has to be the fastest character. Just like someone has to have the most health, hit the hardest, etc.
QGJ helps make Jedi teams viable and does not need to be touched.
