Reading the forum Im still unclear where people stand, so i guess the majority dont know either. Some say whales got the best deals, whales say f2p people could now compete with them, where is our advantage. the mods are great, no matter if they stand like they are now or they are how they were at first. I think EA made a mistake buy giving too much credit to those who hated it, instead they should of just left them as they were.
People are leaving, so what, come new star wars movie, there will be plenty back, maybe even players who want to play this game.
Other problem is gw. cant really understand people who say dont come here crying if your team aint all that. well, if ya cant finish, guess yours aint either.
credit crunch, well, in no game meant to be played by adults too are the goals optainable right now, you gotta make decisions. do you want to be the top dog on arena, make a team for that, u wanna go thru gw, well, larger roster. cant manage either, well, that sucks, maybe u gotta go learn something and come back with skills. bring your a-game on.
thanks to ea, for great game but you gotta remember that if you guys have a vision what the game should be, let it be, dont let people intimidate and tell how it is run. we as players have to have same rules, set by the devs, not by the players who are on charge now.
I really hope people who love this game, will reply, and give thanks and haters, well, you may say your piece too.

I still very much love the game. I hate the fact that CG caters to the whales when they collectively complain about something. I am in the minority with being someone that loved the way Mods were. I saw the potential to how it would make some of my characters actually relevant, rather then lovely mantle pieces that I can feed the Rancor with. I was so excited that I could actually make my Ahsoka led Nightsister/Jedi team and could maybe make it not horrible, but alas, all the big spenders shat on the potential. I have never been one to throw a ton of money at games like these because I love the challenge of playing, and unlocking the game through work, rather then just buying my way to all the content. I will gladly sink $50-$60 to a game, or a series of games that I love/follow. I think that is reasonable. I will however never sink my kids college fund into a game. To each there own I suppose, if people choose to do so, so be it.
I don't agree with everything that EA/CG has done, or the way that they have done it I suppose. Mods really should have had some testing, or a warning that they were subject to change from the get go, so people wouldn't have sank millions of hard earned, and hard to obtain credits into them. I do ultimately still love what the team at CG has created, and I do realize that their is a chain of command, and I'm sure a never ending supply of higher ups pulling the strings to maximize profits. That being said, I'm sure there are many struggles that most of us can not comprehend from the business stand point. The people complaining about EA being greedy must not live in the real world where literally 90% of all companies function under the same greed. The world is run on the all mighty dollar, that really isn't going to change.
All in all, the game is still very solid. The player base is of course dropping because the game has been out for a bit of time, and the selfishness of some people thinking that they have some stock in game development because they have bought the right through in app purchases is rather absurd. Games change. In app/game purchases, DLC's, expansions, are all part of the gaming industry now. All or most games that have any amount of following are responsible for doing this. Calling a company greedy for having these things, when you can literally unlock all the same content just by playing the game and taking time, is to me just silly. The company is only as greedy as the consumer makes it. Products come and go, and all businesses are trying to capitalize when and where they can, and if they are not, they are either a Non Profit, or out of business.
