You're right, it makes no sense to remove the option to do 99,999 with Nihilus. It hasn't been a great option in a long time, with many characters deal that much on every hit (in addition to Vader/Aurra, it's typical for GMY, Wampa, Asajj, Mission, Ezra, and probably more).
