Retribution quest bugged

This is consistent with lots of other passive buff situations, as we’ve seen with many conquest feats. The game mechanics will consider the enemy units as the ones applying the retribution. 

Annoying, for sure, but there is a precedent for this. 

For conquest, I’ve only seen the buff quests not apply through Datadisk passive means, I believe. I’m willing to take your word on it, but I just think it’s odd, considering her kit’s wording.

There’s been lots more examples. Darth Revan’s deathmark, for one, and Scorch’s O66 upon taunt dispel is another. 

As I said, I believe those didn’t count somehow because they were “passive”, happening as the result of mechanics rather than inflicted by abilities 

I also said passive - I don’t see how the Kneesa thing is any different to the two I mentioned. 

When the enemy leader gains Deathmark against a player’s DR squad, this is technically something the enemy leader is doing to themselves. When Scorch’s taunt is cleansed, the enemy unit that cleansed it is effectively applying O66 to themselves.
