Rewards are not fair for Newcomer and Late Starter

I think it is time to say that it is not fair how the rewards are handled in swgoh.

Late Starter for example a fife year old account or newbees have no chance again the rewards flood of 10 Legends Accounts...

The distance of strange increases rocketing. 5k of the third coin type in RAID again 1k. That touches every player.

The rewards have to be handled like in the Triumvirat RAID. Win gives rewards. And Point. I saw player with 40x r9 in Kyber2. That ist not amysing.

  • Of course the rewards aren't equal. If you can't earn better rewards by improving your roster over time, why would you improve your roster?

But fortunately for you (and unfortunately for the relevance of your post) the massive changes coming to the game over the next few weeks are going to make things much closer to even for new toons. For legacy toons you'll still have to slowly boost gear using existing systems, but new toons will use an entirely different systems (during the era they're released).

  • That ist not the point! The new and young player have no chance. I have 12.5 Mio gm. And I don't have a Chance without p2w in the Events. And new player have never the ability to do so.

Next Point ist the League. There should be a seperation with gm or played time and elo. If you are a Youngtimer you would Play in the yt League and not with the three Legend enamy in chromium.

GAC uses some kind of elo. If you face that 40x r9 player, it's probably because that player doesn't care a lot about GAC. Or, maybe, doesn't care a lot about focused datacrons, which are the main pay2win elements of this game.

Of course if you pay you will have advantages in almost every game modes. In a game without skins, who would pay to be exactly the same as those who don't? In fact, next changes are focused on helping new players, they are not very relevant if you have every toon upgraded. But helping is a thing, making them exactly the same as someone who have been played for 10 years is another.

MasterSeedy is saying that the update will fix the issues you were touching on, not the fact or the point of the post. Don’t take it as an offense but see it as a solution.

  • I’m constantly critical of the way CG handles (or fails to handle) pretty much everything but even I think this is ridiculous.   There are a lot of catch up mechanics, one excellent example is the anniversary quests where they’re rewarding 7*/g13/zeta skill LSTs.  Dozens of them, most for specific toons but there are half a dozen that are faction specific also.  There will always be a gap between day 1 players and people who started later and there absolutely should be.  It’s also ridiculous to say new players are going to face off against people with 10 GLs.  As for your specific problem where you believe an account with 40 R9’s doesn’t belong in K2, so what?  Maybe you should drop to K3 or put your big boy pants on and hit K1.  It’s not like the guy is in Bronzium bullying noobs.

  • Why do you think a new player account should be able to compete with someone that has been playing for years?  That makes no sense.

  • You are using a fringe example to suggest reverting back to a system which had a lot of issues. The raid system was updated to promote investment. If it does not we will not get new raids so often as they need a return on time invested in new content. The legacy raids like with triumphant soon got outdated and could be solo completed and you missed opportunity to even register on leader board, there was mass discrepancies in the rewards within guilds due to stratification of the leader board. When I was an officer we had several rows because other officers completed within 30 mins… The current raid structure since krayt is the fairest and biggest motivation to improving roster towards the raid than all previous raids. At 12M you could easily be outperforming players in K3/K2, me and my guild do and I am 12M. The raids are also very easy to focus and punch up in score from a lower GP standpoint.

This game has had massive early game acceleration but we should still respect time invested and put some motivation to focus on some game modes rather than keep boosting players to end game.

If it is a problem try checking your mods, speed and recommended mods are great on them.

GAC isn't a priority for CG, nor is TW.  It's only new shinies.  It's over 3 and 4 years for those events to have updates.

At the same time, end game accounts aren't getting much of anything besides spend more money and shut up.
