Scout Trooper's Restriction on "The Emperor's Trap"

I made a long post about a Thrawn rework, giving him coordination with Nightsisters and making him an Imperial Remant, and ALOT of that idea got destroyed by this:

Scout Trooper's "The Emperor's Trap" has 2 restrictions. One I get, the other not so much.

  • The restrictions are the leader must be Imperial Remnant(cool), and the allies it applies to can only be IMPERIAL TROOPER.

This creates a problem, the current one being DTMG isn't an Imperial Trooper, the other one being that every other Imperial Remnant to be added has to be Imperial Trooper or this is useless.

I will also add, I think it'll be less of a headache to make Scout Trooper's Emperor's Trap work on all empire characters assuming the leader is Imperial Remnant(This is already a huge restriction). Then, making DTMG a Imperial Trooper and giving him that coordination, which is scary and a whole can of worms.

    I made this post separate from the Thrawn rework Idea because it's a problem in current teams.

    The only leader that Scout trooper can work with is base Moff Gideon. DTMG is not an imperial trooper. It wouldn't work with Thrawn either, but that is the smaller issue. If Scout was changed as stated above, it'll work on both teams: DTMG and my Thrawn Idea.

    DTMG could get the Trooper tag instead, it makes about as much sense as why base Moff Gideon has it.

    The problem with that is is the Imperial Trooper tag gives him the ability to work in Veers teams. The one weakness behind DTMG is that he is slow, that tag removes that weakness.

    Just changing it to work with Empire characters, still makes it so Moff Gideon or DTMG is the leader, and the team is remnant based. Thrawn "could" be the leader if the buff I made was added.

    its a completely different thrawn inside swgoh logic.
    Same goes for legends thrawn.
    Current thrawn does not need any synergy with NS and he is not IR.
    And one more thing, Morgan Elsbeth was IR, same as Night troopers and currently there is no need for NS to work with IR other than that.

    If the allied leader is IR and there is no allied Piett emperor's trap boosts every IT ally until DTMG takes a turn because
    - Whenever Dark Trooper Moff Gideon uses a Special ability, all allies gain 10% Defense and Offense (stacking) until the end of the encounter
    and we don't need them to take as many turns as General Veers grants

    So is the complaint that there would be two buffing effects active?
    There is no way for Scout Trooper to work for Emperor Trap in a Veers team, nor for a way for Scout to give Veers like turn meter in a remnant team.

    The idea was that he isn't that Thrawn but if he is paired with a Nightsister, he becomes that thrawn. He gets a leader buff, and then has a way to use the "scrap" characters, and maybe Morgan Elsbeth and Night Troopers if they were added.

    To Incorporate the Ahsoka show they can either: Add a new thrawn, ignore current thrawn, or buff current thrawn. I chose the later option with qualifiers.
