With the Dooku and Nute reworks now out, has anyone worked out if this will enable a nice non-GG, F2P 7* unlock when the Padme event returns? (I have Geonosians, Asajj and B2 at G11/12 which is in theory just about enough. But I was looking for a team comp that doesn’t require 5 hours of RNG!)

5 hours? that's very good! I played 2 days straight to unlock padme at 5 stars.. (assaj and insects were g12)

I would have loved to spend 5 hours to complete the event ... I actually unlocked 6* on the first day, but it took me until 1 hour before the event finished before I got lucky enough to finish 7* (fully ftp). Unless you have full g12’s with any possible zetas, almost nothing will guarantee finishing within a certain amount of time, sorry to say.

Why wouldn't you want to use GG? He is a ftp toon. With him maxed with dooku, nute, b2, and a geo it will be super easy

I'm planning on attempting the next event with the following:

GG (G12)
B2 (G12)
Asajj (G12)
Nute (G11)
Dooku (G12)

Holding zetas till the event. I'm not sure Dooku will be good for the event as he will trigger the protection mechanic.
I also think Nute's rework may increase the chances of 7*.

Unlocked her to 6* last time with a mess of Sep toons.

This time I will have all droid seps at g12 with zeta. Also gearing Nute to g12 just in case he needs to be swapped in for b1.

Dooku is incredibly strong now against anything galactic republic, and if you have B2 as well then yeah you can probably do it fine.

I will be at:

GG with unique zeta (g12)
Asaj with unique zeta (g12)
Dooku (g11)
B2 (g11)
Magna (g11)

My nute is gear 9. Bugs are gear 8. Droideka is gear 9 and b1 gear 9... but those 2 are only 6 star
