Severe lack of customer care

So how is it that CG can get away with such a severe lack of customer care. Bugs that don't award shards? Ehh, maybe next year. Packs weren't showing up in the find flow for gear and shards? DROP EVERYTHING! We gotta fix this game-breaking bug! (Aka: a bug that hurts the revenue, not actual gameplay)
I'm curious if anyone has other examples of such a lack of customer care for a game that has such a healthy monthly revenue.
  • I hope we can all realize that "next year" is less than 10 days away when that statement was made.....

    You may have answered your own question in that last sentence. They still see money coming in, why spend that money to fix problems the customer base appears to be tolerating?

    Exactly.
    It’s hard to see the big picture over the giant stacks of cash they are bringing in.

    Yes, and do you realize they allowed the find flow bug to last hours? (p.s. obviously you are aware, its rhetorical btw.) You know their priorities as good or better than we do, so stop with the rose-colored glasses.

    And to the rest, oh I totally see who we're dealing with and have more or less accepted it. I am more curious if there's glaring examples of this buffoonery.
