see above, 2,4 and 5 all have merit, more stuff for ship abilities is not likely, and if it is its in the 4th or 5th year. there is so much more that needs to be developed before they can really add that. we can't even make 4 fully defined teams.
ships are always going to be second tier, they are used to add content but still only serve to feed the primary game which is toons.
