I usually put Executor on defence + Empire/Negotiator, precisely because there are several ways to clear an enemy Executor. How do you manage in TW? I’m usually killing 2 to 3 enemy Executor with my own in defence.
I put executor on defense. I never expect a one shot and when I use malevolence it’s complete rng to win. The only skill is to know what to do when executor makes certain decisions. For example if it goes after TFP and kills him first with aoe you lose. If it kills hyena bomber before first reinforcement your dead. When bringing spy out 70% of the time his all out assist gets dodged and if it does you may very well lose your chance to kill whatever ship it was. If you lose with MAL without killing anyone which most do you have like a 10% chance of killing it with anything else. I understand it’s a difficult ship and that’s fine whatever. But don’t start putting out ships at this difficulty if we only have 1-2 other ships that have a very very slight chance of beating it.
