Smuggler Run 2 Again

I don’t know how others do it, but it is really starting to make me not want to play this game anymore or wonder why I even bothered getting Jabba at all. I have him to R8 with everything, Boba to 7, Krr to 7, Boussh to 6 and even use Greedo at 6 or Skiff at 5. I get much further with Greedo. But with all of that, I still can’t win. And on top of that, he sucks in the arena against everyone.

  • It's tedious for sure. I use Jabba, Sklando, Boushh, Greedo, Krr

    Remove taunts with Greedo, focus Range first, save ult till wave 3 and kill the death troopers. This usually works really well on the first try, but had two or three failed attempts last time.

    Strongly considering putting gear on embo just for this event. Super annoying. I only finished it once on the last run because I just didn't want to spend another 15-20 minutes doing it again - and heaven forbid RNG goes south and I'm not able to land TDs on the shore troopers. I mean, I want the rewards but I find myself spending way too much time in this game lately. Maybe it's just me but I'm getting tired of sinking hours of my time into tedious tasks.

    How much potence you have on her?
    Mine has 182% and is very rare for thermals to be applied...


    This - I've got 187% potency on Leia and the shore troopers almost always resist.
  • It's actually pretty easy and with your R level shouldn't be losing. Use Jabba basic until you have ultimate, kill ranged first, then others. Save next ultimate for wave 2 start, kill range. Save next ultimate kill one of the death troops. Kill other death trooper and then collect your 2 6*'s worth of upgrade material. It's probably the best paying thing in the game that can't be simmed.
  • Very tedious indeed. I have struggled through it in the past, but this last round took me two hours. Thermals wouldn't land, always would blow up before I could get a turn to work on contract, round 3 toons one shoting everyone, even Krenic and ST. I was beginning to wonder if they had changed something. They need to make this simmable. I think we have moved away from the endlessly hard events that have to be played every time. We have enough to do between TB, TW, GAC, and Conquest.

    I got +269% with best potency mods i use in that event
  • With Potency Up from Skiff Lando, Boussh can land thermals consistently on the tanks. I’ve also found Mob Enforcer can usually land Thermal even on the tanks.

    Don’t use the Ult. Use the 6 Thermals on everybody once you get there. Between that and the Buff Block from Jabba, kill the Range troopers. I don’t Ult until there’s one guy left in P3.

    Skifflando use covert Coordination on bk asap, after finished contract and its easy.
    No ult needed, let them die from thermal detonators are faster.

    As others have said , Embo. He is the key for the event as dispel on basic not only means the taunts aren't a problem but the protection up is dispelled. Kill range first in both wave one and two , save ult for krennic wave 3. Oh and Enbo can dispel the crit hit immunity as well.
  • Embo is great, but I find it easy enough using Boba instead. Like some others have said, use Jabba's basic first turn to protect Krrsantan. If he dies, use Skiff's turn swap on Jabba and he's back up and running again, ready to taunt on his next turn. It can be a fairly long fight, but I usually end up with multiple Ultimate attacks. Focus on Range troopers and get your contract completed. This will trivialise the fight as every wave will start with all your toons having damage immunity. Wave 3 just kill the death troopers quickly before it wears off.

    If it’s taking you 2 hours, even on x1 speed, you are doing something wrong.

    What lineup are you using?


    Only run that this had happened to me. Previously would have to run it like five times to beat it, but this last time was unbearable. Used the same team that I had three starred it previously. Boushh, Santy, Lando and Embo. Ended up swapping out Embo for Greedo and eventually got it. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing.
