"At this rate" is fallacious since the rate at which most guilds are getting GET2 is increasing as they build for the TB.

CG is all about a cash grab, forcing people to buy to unlock characters. Also, CG is lazy and wants people to unlock so they don't have to work.

There is a proper time and a place for everything. Doing a podcast after a fiasco like this and just before dropping another fiasco looks bad. Sorry if you cant put 2 and 2 together to see it.

If he's at less than half the 4.5 month minimum right now, then December 2020 is probably not a bad guess. Especially since the lstb release will slow get 2 acquisition as compared to running dstb.

Doubtful.

GET2 income from DSTB will continue to rise.

Given the short gap, it's doubtful Geo LSTB will be a significantly higher power level than DSTB, and even if it is that will likely mean slightly higher rewards as was the case with DS Hoth, plus most peoples' light side roster is significantly stronger than dark side. The addition of Geo LSTB will slow GET2 acquisition; if anything, it's likely to increase it, and time will continue to increase GET2 acquisition as guilds get stronger.

I'm not sure if TopHat is a developer but even if he is, one developer doing a podcast doesn't mean no one else is still working on bug fixes

Didn’t the developers peace out and say Monday they would look into it?
