Stamina in conquest

Agreed, I also often thought the same. I only want to refresh when I know that it's worth it and I actually can use the toons, I plan on using.

I was thinking of some kind of optional push notifications when stamina is restored. We already have these when energy is refreshed…

as long as i can turn that off

Push notifications might be a bit tricky with so many different toons with different stamina levels. I’d definitely turn those off.

I'm all for more QoL updates but I can honestly say I've never needed this or found it to be problematic. A minor adjustment in how you approach conquest could make all the difference here. On any given conquest day I take a look at what feats I'm working on that day and plan for not using any one team more than 5 times. If you do conquest at the same time every day that ensures your teams will regen back to 100% stamina by the time you come back to them the next day.

You CAN fly by the seat of your pants in conquest, but unless you have a size XXL roster and plan to eat every consumable you come across, it's generally a bad idea. Go in with a plan that was created with stamina management in mind and you'll rarely, if ever find yourself in a situation where you refreshed without the stamina to see it through.

That being said, if the devs wanted to do some conquest QoLs... I'm more than happy to see that coming. Better stamina views - sure - but also please let us switch sectors without navigating back to the main conquest screen, and for the love of all that's holy, please do something about the data disk screen - it's like herding cats trying to switch a single disk when they all share the same six icons and you have to equip every one to find the one you're looking for.

I agree with the other QoL suggestions in your last paragraph. Particularly the data disks is sorely needed. Just more icons to differentiate them would be a big help

As to your suggestion to plan out conquest for the same time every day, I’d love to be able to but reality almost always gets in the way. Right now I’m trying to juggle four of the global feats and my teams for those aren’t strong enough to win battles, even the easiest ones, without stamina above 80% or higher for a few. I also have to rush them a bit in the last week as without good disks even that isn’t possible at 100% stamina in the first few days. That means coming back to conquest 3/4 times a day, at random times to other days, to fit in battles where possible. Being able to check if it’s worth buying a refresh would be great.

With a stronger all round roster it would be far more achievable, being able to plan it over the full two weeks. Given that’s sometimes not possible, particularly the first month with new squads for me feats, this was just a QoL suggestion.

Sometimes, particularly when grinding the 40x squad or faction feats, I’d like to be able to see the stamina of particular toons, or just the whole roster, before deciding whether to buy an energy refresh. I know conquest energy recharges pretty slowly so it’s a minor issue, but it would make planning out these battles and the refreshes just a little bit easier. Maybe a view stamina screen could be available somewhere on the conquest home screen?

If they just changed the button on the map screen to allow you into the squad selection screen without the energy required, this would be done. You could see all your staminas there.

You still can't hit the actual battle button, because that is locked by energy (in the squad select screen) but the one on the map doesn't need to be locked behind energy.

This would be a perfect solution. I wonder if they won’t implement it because it would mean changing the energy check in all other modes as well to be at the squad select screen.

Absolutely the easiest fix from a programmer's perspective (and from a cost perspective for CG), though TBH, I would like to be able to be able to see the stamina in other views. That 2-column squad select view is pretty terrible for getting a stamina overview to plan your next 6 or 12 battles.

Still, that's pie in the sky, and just being able to access the squad selection screen without energy in the tank would be a huge improvement.

Well they did specify "optional".

But yeah, I would NEVER use that. I have no problems with the game having more optional features, but the last thing I want is the game beeping at me. I'll play when I want to play, TYVM.
