Accidentally simmed it before I could screenshot, but I was in Galactic War, doing my daily rounds, when it suddenly clicks that on the first battle is some relatively weak characters, you know, gear 4 rebel, R6 Vader and - hold up.
R6 Vader? Just what on earth happened there? I sincerely hope it's a one time bug, because new players are never finishing Galactic War if that shows up more often, especially with RD in effect now.
This thread boils down to some funky rng that disappears when the day ends and your game generates a new GW. This is an extremely minor occasional annoyance, which clearly hasn't happened for you until now, so it's a once in a blue moon "problem". GW gets simmed. And with all the LSTs being thrown at us, if you can't take an R6 Vader, I'll just roll my eyes at you.
There are legitimate problems with the game. This is not one of them.

You seem to be both missing the point of this post and downsizing its core issue.
I am not making this post for myself, but for less progressed players - as I have said on two separate occasions.
Second, please tell me where you’ve encountered an R6 toon anywhere in GW, because the most I’ve ever seen is R0
Tell me how anyone not at Lvl 85 would defeat an R6 Vader, unless they’re cheating

IIRC, you now only need to complete GW once and reach lvl85 to unlock simming, so... nah.
This was not the final node. This was the first node. Also, it's not my problem - it would, however, be a problem for for new players.

Certainly not to that extent.
Why would that be a bug? GW enemies get progressively stronger. Sometimes relic units show up in the final node.
Also, why does it matter? You can just sim it.
