The Big Fix

I see 2 simple solutions to bring this game / power creep back into line.

1st Speed Mods. Certain characters were designed to b fast, others slow. Speed on mods killed that concept as have speed leads.

In order to remedy that, speed on mods and on leads should be changed to percentage-based.


2nd Power Creep. Dont nerf anything. Just add a benefit for running 4 or 5 of the same faction or a detriment for not. It will restore balance and keep a hodge-podge of the 5 most powerful characters just being thrown together from being so over the top.

  • The % of speed seems reasonable, but you would just be making the faster toons even faster and making the gap much bigger. 10% of 160 is more than 10% of 130... so slower toons have no way to make up some ground to be relevant.

  • Don't like either idea, I love speed on mods and I like throwing together whoever I want without worrying about label/tag synergy bonuses or penalties.

    Rebel team bonus: Empire enemies One-shot rebel allies and are inmortal
  • its a good thought, but your second point is against the intent designed into the game from the beginning. It was always meant to be a sandbox. I am all for buffing toons to make more viable options and therefore teams.
