So what is the meta? It's all garbage as far as I'm concerned... Popular characters all have their counters and everyone uses them... I understand that they all have their purpose and having Anakin in your team is generally better than mob enforcer... But should you follow suit and run the same cliche team as everyone else?It's boring... How do you make things interesting and plan for the counter your opponent has already planned for?Is a tank even worthwhile when everyone runs QGJ just to dispel your taunt? Short answer... NopeI've gotten a lot of non meta characters to max gear and a lot of them are fantastic in their role within a team... My advice is to play what you want to and don't follow the herd... Experiment when you can and try new things A pointless topic but I would love to see what "out of the norm"' teams people are doing well with... Mine changes daily but here's what I have currently... Show me yours!

Seriously I've tried more setups and crazy ideas than you could shake a stick at...

I've done em all... Dodge teams with old Ben, Dooku or best of all cad bane... Phasma led teams with Aayla and Dengar for crazy assists and counterattacks... Super high damage and super tanky setups

Anakin lead with clones/ jedi, IG 88 led dot teams, ewoks, rebels, scoundrels, a mix of them... Too many teams to name... all sorts of hybrid teams with all the standard players

I'm sure you can beat them on offense but I can beat you right back with some wacky team that you have never seen before

The point is a lot of characters are viable outside of the standard teams and I wouldn't discourage anyone from going with what they envision and putting it to the test...

I think you might be surprised when you realize that's Hoth soldier and not scout and oh crap you can't break his taunt while Lando rains on your parade

You're right and they are commonly used these days... Lando in particular is so hot right now...

ST Han is a standard character but really he just plays as a distraction on this team.... still they meld well and it's not what you see in most teams from my experience...

It's how they work together that makes a team like that one strong

Lando's AoE makes evading chars of Benteams, Cad Bane has the more effective Leaderskill and u can use both Solos and Lando, too.
This team here is too weak at the moment.

It's simple to swap Zam for Anakin to deal with a dodge team that's giving you trouble.... She's a force to be reckoned with... And even more non-meta!

Cads dodge chance is amazing when it goes your way... And he does bring some utility for shutting down Jedi on the other team.

It's another viable option... I like the Cad led scoundrels a lot actually
