The next pilots / fleet commanders -who is getting a ship?

We all know that more ships will become available, but we don't know which ones or when. So let's speculate! I have only listed toons already in the game.

Below I list my totally unqualified opinions and baseless speculation ;)


Please don't yell at me if I got some of the lore wrong <3


Aayla Secura:
Spoiler
Probability: Medium
When: ?
As a jedi general she commanded a Acclamator-class assault ship. Perhaps a Fleet commander?



Asajj Ventress:
Spoiler
Probability: High
When: ?
Ship: Ginivex-class starfighter (Fanblade)

She is a favorite from the TV-series, but her toon isn't doing so well. A seperatist and can therefore add synergy with the Geonesians.



Barriss Offee:
Spoiler
Probability: Low
When: ?

Popular toon for low level players (and zeta), but not known as a pilot or general



Cad Bane:
Spoiler
Probability: High
When: ? but they are puching bounty hunters right now. Soon?
Ship: Xanadu Blood: Rogue-class starfighter

He fits the "OK but not great" toon description. This could be a way of boosting him. Was in the data-mined files



Captain Phasma:

Ship: ?

I have no idea whether she is a good pilot, but she was in the data-mined files.


CC Cody:

Ship: Negotiator - a Venator-class Star Destroyer
Fleet Commander?

Not known as a pilot or general, but neither was REX or Fives.



Clone Wars Chewbacca:

Probability: inevitable, but not this version of Chewie

Ship: Millenium Falcon

Fan favorite in a fan-favorite ship. Will happen



Count Dooku:

Ship: Solar sailor - a heavily-modified Punworcca 116-class interstellar sloop?

Not really a pilot himself (droids piloted his personal ship). More likely to be a seperatist Fleet commander



CT Echo:

Dengar:

Ship: Punishing One - a JumpMaster 5000 Starfighter

Again, he fits the "OK but not great" toon description. This could be a way of boosting him

A jedi general. Perhaps a Fleet commander? One of the weakest jedi, this could be a way of boosting him



General Grievous:

The longest grind + iconic (like him or not) + seperatist battle leader + not that great a toon = he will get a ship for certain



General Kenobi:

He is an iconic character, a great pilot and rebel - but a mediocre toon. He will get a ship soon, unless they bring in Jedi Luke first and reside to give him a ship.

Nute Gunray:

    I feel like FOO has a chance at being a crew member with someone else. Assuming he was put under the "no chance" since he's an unnamed toon?

    Yes, that is my reasoning. But they could go for crew members or perhaps troop transports to give unnamed toons at place as well.

    Ironically Kylo Ren has some Episode VIII news floating around claiming hell have a modified Tie Similar to Tie Strikers

    You have Lando listed as "not really a pilot."
    Dude led Gold Squadron a blew up the second Death Star!

    They should put Emperor in the Imperial Lambda shuttle as a crew member with another pilot. Similar to the U-Wing.

    This is a great list but there are a few things worth reconsidering about it
    IG-100 droids did pilot this ship in a couple of the clone wars episodes http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rogue-class_starfighter/Legends
    Emporer Palpatine and his royal guards could probably get this shuttle http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lambda-class_T-4a_shuttle/Legends
    Darth Sidious uses multiple shuttles but this is the one used in the movie http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Theta-class_T-2c_shuttle
    The Chewbacca we have currently is from the clone wars era which poses some issues, I don't think The Punishing One or IG-2000 are canon (neither is HK-47 though, so no worries here)

    Seems like the seperatists will be the most fleshed out faction when it comes to ships. Not only do they get a capital ship, but between the Geonosian ships and droid fighters they can pretty much field their own team.

    Seperatists and Jedi. Rebels and Empire still have a ways to go.

    Indeed. This is the data-mined files i refer to under some toons (I should have included the source).
