The profundity preventing turn meter gain hurts rebels more than the opponents.

About half the rebel fleet has some ability in their kits that provides turn meter. With the profundity preventing turn meter gain, ships like Bistan’s U-wing become completely useless.  Additionally the falcon and Ghost can’t gain their double turns with their abilities.

A rework of the profundity should consider this and at least allow rebel ships to gain turn meter. Especially now that the Profundity feels so much worse than the Executor and leviathan in comparison to the investment required for it.

Ironically the U-Wings from the Rogue one movie work beter with the Home One along side the Raven’s Claw because they’re allowed to use their kits to its full extend.

I agree that some minor changes and new ships would be nice indeed. I think Profundity applying turn meter denial only to the enemy would go a long way in alowing the profundity to find more use with the entire Rebel fleet.

For Home One alongside what you mentioned of the Katarn’s anti Falcon mechanisms , the Ravens claw should start the battle with foresight. It could also grant foresight to another rebel ally after an enemy is target locked if it already has foresight. While also being able to call assist on target locked enemies outside of its turn like the Falcon.

Lukes Red One is a must have at this point, the X-Wings are to iconic to Star Wars to be as left to the side as they are at this moment.

I get it, but isn’t the Profundity also quite an investment? Even more than the Executor. If people are not investing in the profundity at the moment they would benefit from encouraging them to invest in it as well.

I think the structure of the Eras has affected the release of a ship since new releases are build around them. With the B-wing showing up in Skeleton crew, wouldn’t it be possible for them to release some Rebel themed ships or marquees in the pirate themed era?

That would make it the meta fleet again and people would stop spending resources to get leviathan and executor built up.

If anything, they're making the new pirate fleet now and that'll be the "new shiny op!" fleet they release.  They should've released Luthen's ship by now and they haven't, so rebel fleets aren't a concern now.  (The last ship we got was punishing one over 18 months ago.)

  • Agreed!    ............  I've been saying this for literal YEARS now.

Changing the TM denial to be "Enemy" instead of "ALL" would be HUGE for Profundity.

Other minor tweaks I'd do for Rebels.

Add Rebel A-Wing (Crewless) that has assist function similar to Falcon as Falcon Replacement.

Remove Raven Claw's "anti-Falcon" coding so Falcon can go back to Home-1 fleet.
Add Rebel B-Wing (Crewless) as Tank/Taunt for Home-1
    Add Luke's X-Wing  (Farmboy) with X-Wing Squadron (TIE like) synergy w/ Home-1 & Falcon.

Profundity w/ TM fixes Fleet = 7 ships    (For a Very "Rebels" + "Rogue-1" feel)
    A-Wing, U-Wing(s), Phoenix(s), Y-Wing, & Outrider

Home One Fleet =   6 Ships  (For a Very OG-Trilogy feel)
X-Wings(3), Falcon, Kyle, B-Wing  (Room for 1 more future ship)
