I want to hear what your thoughts are on the EP/Vader reworks, because for me... well i'm disappointed and expected a lot more! While they are now generally more capable on the offense (but still struggling against certain teams), they are horrible on the defense. The updates are just something mediocre, not meta-shifters as we all hoped they would be and don't do these Sith Lords any justice. I mean c'mon... we're talking about Palpatine and Vader - two of the most significant and iconic characters in Star Wars and two of the most powerful Sith Lords in the history of the galaxy and these are the buffs they come up with, after all this waiting?! Seriously? Not to mention the lack of a second Unique ability on both!

utter rubbish. just not working at all on any level. what a watse of zetas. im full gear 12 on them both, along with gear 12 on rest of sith. ive tried all diffrent leads against res and rebels. makes no difference at all. getting wasted every time and i'm 1 in arena with my normal squad, which incidentally beats rebels and res metas ( rex, cls, r2, nihilus and st han)

It looked good... on paper. They both got pretty nice buffs, but they're not huge. A good comparison that AhnaldT101 has used is the New Hope Rebel Reworks. Old Ben became one of the best tanks in the game, Leia became a very good attacker, and Raid Han became one of the best characters overall.EP went from an okay attacker with some glaring flaws, to a pretty good attacker.... with some glaring flaws.Vader went from an underwhelming attacked with a fundamentally weak kit, to a slightly faster attacked with a fundamentally weak kit.

Palpatine and Thrawn have now been elevated to top 25 characters in the game.

They are characters that everyone already has. EA won't move the meta for characters everyone already has.

If the new Sith raid has another top 25 Sith or empire character the meta may move.

I will be honest and admit that I was hoping for a slight bit of duo synergy between the two but it's not there.

Rey breaks the meta with the backup of 4 top tier characters. Vader and Palpatine have been made good enough that a top tier team can feature them. Whether the developers intend to give us the rest of the team I don't know.

Look Rey works based on a legendary journey character, three event characters and a raid character. One of the event characters doesn't have any faction synergy with the others, one of the event characters creates faction synergy for the raid character that otherwise wouldn't synergises with jtr.

Rey has a team that breaks the meta. Who are you using with Vader and Palpatine, Thrawn and some easily farmed scrubs. I hope that the new Sith raid drops shards for a Sith character who is a top tier tank and can make a Sith team work.

It's important to realise that Vader and Palpatine are easily accessible characters than manshame the mid game meta, ie Wiggs, chaze, phoenix etc.
