Tier 3 Artist of War

I think it's nice when there's a bit of a challenge. I don't really struggle with it anymore though. Thrawn (g13 r1), Vader (g12), Palp (g12), death trooper (g12) and shoretrooper (g11) does it quite easily.

Strong disagree with them making any event retroactively easier. If it bothers you enough to complain, make your team better instead. That's how you beat it, not by asking for something that will not happen.

I do this with Thrawn/EP/Vader/Tarkin/Shoretrooper. Shoretrooper is g9, the rest are G12. No relevant zetas (have EP lead, but he's not in the lead slot).

Shoretrooper basically is just there to eat the opening salvo - he almost always dies before I get a turn. Then I just do Vader/EP/Tarkin AOEs and kill off Ezra and Sabine ASAP; they're pretty squishy so they're easy to kill even while they still have Chopper, Zeb and Kanan's uniques.

After that their damage output is basically nonexistent, so I just slowly pick them apart, using shock from EP's basic to prevent the obnoxious healing from Kanan's unique and Thrawn's TM swap to heal up protection as needed.

All g12: Thrawn Palp Vader DT Tarkin. Been getting 3 stars for ages. Not even a challenge.

I just beat it for my first time, using the team described by Jasonjay. It took several restarts, maybe 8-10 tries. The winning run was Vader and Thrawn vs Zeb. I started using fracture at that point and whittled him down.

The trick is to save fracture for someone to be deathmarked, it’s an insta kill on any deathmarked enemy in this event. I use IPD to kill someone, then apply that deathmark, fracture and it’s easy from there

This is a good strategy. I use veers in place of tarkin. But Palpatine pretty much kills Ezra before you get a move. So kill him off first —> deathmark Sabine and she’s done too. Then kill kman

It's worth nothing that, and I'm not 100% sure of this but let's go with it, they actually made the event easier. Originally they all ignored taunt. Now if you bring Shore in they'll attack him until Ezra clears it. So you've got that going for you.

I would agree that the rewards are disproportionate to the effort often needed. However, I don’t again with nerfing the event.

If anything, improve the rewards. Even then...not a fan of doing that.
