Top arena squads?

you can also just go into your arena rankings and see what the top teams are doing.
Interestingly enough though, most people here will tell you to use the same toons that are popular and then some of those same people will later make a thread complaining about the lack of diversity.
Anyway, that's not really important, look at the teams at the top and go from there.

GS is good attacker to start but there are tons of good charaters there

a good squad that is FTP and will beat most is phasma, rey, ST han, RG, QGJ and all characters can be worked on separately with no overlap. I mean I can place first everyday with this squad if I wanted.

you can also sub out st han for GS, or leia and do well.

Phasma is easier to gear up so quick path is her but defensively she is not as good as old ben.

To the OP

If experience and past practice are predictors of the future; it doesn't matter what you pick!

By the time you are 80 (we'll be 90, but that's not the point) all those great toons will be as useless as Sid!

And the Emperor and Jedi Rey will be the new must have toons.

Not that anyone will care, because we'll all be levelling our pilots ;)
