What economy changes?

It was in the pod cast I believe, and no they didnt give out any details.

I believe they mentioned it along the lines of helping new players.

So they didn't actually mention the changes, just that something was changing. Got it.

Maybe the shift in cristal source ?

Hopefully not, switching cristals from arena to gac would kill everything

Was about to post the same. Was in the road ahead or dev q and a a while back about changing the primary source of crystals from arena/fleet to elsewhere

Except that would be the opposite of helping newer players. Newer players (especially whales), because of their inflated GP, get matched up in GAC with older players, often with better mods and deeper rosters. In arena, new whales still have a huge advantage.

Shifting crystal income to GAC would not only bother some long time players - but would hurt new whales too. But making old whales and new whales upset would certainly change the economy...just not in a way CG would be happy about.

I’m sure whatever the change it is will help everyone’s current gear crunch exponential, just like the last one.
