If you have 400 million, why not buy a few lottery tickets and get mods without speed to see if speed pops up? What's the worst thing that can happen, you wind up with only 300 million? Hording to that degree is only holding yourself back.

Well the reason I rarely spend credits to buy mods isn't because I lack credits. I have well over 200 mil. It's more the fact that I have quite a few mods that still need sliced and I pretty much spend all my mod energy on slicing materials. I get enough free mods that have speed that I can't slice those fast enough without spending crystals to farm more. And I have other uses for crystals.

The fact is that credits just aren't the bottleneck for mods at the endgame. You can only buy mods with +5 speed showing and other desirable secondaires/primary stats and still buy more mods each week than you can slice to 6 dot without spending crystals.

Stun guns too, provided you have finished your get1 farms and check the get and shard stores 4x daily every single day. I have two GLs and still have over 1700 stun gun salvage.

There's the problem for newer players. You get guns from shard shop and get store but new players have little to no shard shop currency and have 4 characters that take 6 mo each (all of which are important to have) to farm from get store before they can start utilizing the shop for gear.

Add to that the fact that they have more characters that need the gear and stars to reach end game content and you start to see the problem. Now, I'm not saying you should be able to beat end game content instantly but it shouldn't take multiple years to get there.

And they need to address this so that new players will actually join and play the game.

My alt is 2m GP f2p. Not new, but certainly not old. And I've banked over 800 stun guns.

What GP is your Alts guild may I ask?, my Guild don’t get all that much GET1 but I have taken your advice on this for the last month or so and have been able to bank a few but soon I’m going to be going for DR then Malek so won’t be able to spend that and My stream of stun guns will stop. I agree with Dark Helmet that it should be a little easier for newer players to catch up to endgame and making stun guns a little more accessible without having to take away from farms such as Hoda, Malek, Wampa etc.. would certainly do that.

It's a fair question and being in a very good guild absolutely helps. I've bounced around with it a lot but always been in the 180-240m guild range, which is only generally made possible due to connections from my main and my presence on the forum. With that said, I've completely ignored Hoda/Wampa/Malak/GAS. I worked on Geos first, then GR, now working on SLKR.

I guess my point is that you can build up gear but you do have to make hard choices, which seems ok to me.

Yeah I thought it would be around that and I do get what you’re saying, hard choices are part of the grind with this game I just believe it should be a little easier for newer players to try and progress and get to those higher places quicker. Especially since being in a guild of that calibre isn’t always easily accessible without a good GP or in game connections like you have. Making stun guns a little more accessible would be a very easy way for newer players to progress that little bit faster. It would allow them to go for those GET1 locked characters or use GET1 for some of the gear that is hard to get without doing HSith. I know everyone in my guild would certainly appreciate it and it would help us get to HSith and the better TB’s just that little bit faster which would also help make the game a bit more fun.

Recruiting stinks.. We did a cull a few months back as we found 10ish folk that wanted a better guild than their current one. Ended up with some low GP folks but it helped us all out, participation is up.

To the stun gun point, I bought Guns and skipped Malak for a moment to finish characters needed for an unlock. Yup, all about choices.

Also would like to see more ways to earn GET2 currency. Its the biggest impediment to new accounts being able to compete in fleet and GAC.

I think they’re trying to make Bronziums give double shards, they just need a way to differentiate between Accelerated and Standard.

Because you get double the shards from Arena Currency. Doubled shards -> Double net Shard Shop Currency -> Doubled Price should even out to be the same.
