i have spent over 60 dollars on gems trying to farm old ben shards for the CLS event and didnt even get 12 shards how can they be so bad this was the first time in a very long time i have spent money on the game and really regret it now

I know a lot of people exaggerate on the internet, but try to not go so far as to be 100% unbelievable. I'd believe if you hit 12 shards in one day but you didn't blow nearly 8000 crystals on just 12 shards.

Well now you learned your lesson.

You should have saved your money.. they’re gonna release packs for old ben and all the other toons needed. Drop rates are random. Sometimes you get a ton sometimes you get none. It’s nobodys fault haha

Nexy time, sim 4 battles, twice. If you get 0 shards, close the game and open it again. This alwauys helped me, got a lot better rng after.

I’ve had mixed drops. Trying to finish off Talia and am 0/15. However yesterday I was 10/15 on veteran Chewie. Go figure.

Because its not "Random Number Generator" it is "Selective Number Generator". RNG would mean you have an 'equal' chance of getting something. SNG means they put "specific" % chances on what you want/need that are lower than the stuff you end up getting that has a 98% chance of popping up.

In the case of characters, I think someone said there's a 33% chance in light/dark for shards to show up and in Cantina a 20/25% chance for drops? I wouldn't be surprised either way, but that is SNG at its finest. :P
