Where is the interesting part of the new raid?

I haven't played it yet, but my enthusiasm level is quite low.

I was very excited for the Krayt raid and enjoyed it for a while before it got stale. But with Krayt, I was still using my actual units and mods that I've learned to use over the years. So the only new things to learn were the boss's mechanics and a few environment mechanics. With Endor... it's like I'm being plopped into the endgame content of a game I've never played and must learn everything from the ground up really fast.
