@CG_Kozispoon is there a reason why he isn't free-to-play yet? I'm just kind of confused as to why Wedge, B2 and Kit became free now but not Darth Maul. Wedge and B2 were brought into the game after Darth Maul and i've been patiently waiting for him so i can finally unlock and use my favorite character. Please let us know why he isn't free yet, because i understand that we won't be told when he will be free.

Who wants to get him anyway ? He's the worst character in the game ! I thought mods would help him get better, but he still sucks imo

He got a slight rework to be okay, before that he was as bad as Maul. Maul has always been useful in GW at least, mowing down Jedi. And with TM advantage now, and his free TM per kill, his speed is hardly and issue in GW.

Because he's my favorite character that's why i want him and it's a good enough reason alone. I don't care if he's terrible or not, i'll continue to play the way i want to and i want Darth Maul so i can use him.

@UnderclassHero Darth Maul was also in the game before Rex, which means Darth Maul deserves to be free-to-play before Rex anyways.

Why isn't Darth Maul free to play yet?

Very sad to know that. Is possible to change and release Rex before? Rex have a lot of uses, Darth Maul is a joke.

@Jedi_Yoda yea it doesn't seem like they care much for him, not sure why. And it's not like they would ever tell us the real reason or plans for him. I was hoping to get a better response but at least i got one. And @Darth_Azrael i understand Rex is a very good game changing player but i still would prefer Darth Maul over Rex. And i'm sure i'm only one of very few who would prefer that because i'd rather play the characters i like rather than the best characters in the game.

It is a valid thought. But I like clones. Just do not play with them because only 5s is farmable. If Rex become F2P, plus this team become possible, he will still have use in various game modes.

Cool! Can you buff him first? There is a cool thread in character feedback with some ideas about Maul/Savage synergy. Buff him to make him uber first, then release him 30 days later in the GW or Arena shop, please:)
