Why should i place defense in the new GA?
We don't gain points/banners, in fact we would help our opponent being able to score points. I hope my opponent is kind enough to place more defense than i did. Or did i miss some crucial info?

My guess is still that they might have to at least log in to GA, not necessarily that they have to clear the zone. Since opponent was an autoset, it's unlikely they'll take any further action.
