Will competition with other GoH like games will give us some benefit?

I’m just short of 5.3M GP, and I’ve been in TI twice, and I’ve never even heard of this whale Discord until today. My guess is you’ve got to know some people.

There's a few whale and kraken discord servers but there's no dev presence in them. They're just a place for whales to talk to each other without f2p shaming them.

I sent $30 on gear for the Malak event and got an instant invite to the secret whale server.

Not really. CCGs are the genre. However dat Marvel game is a very clear clone of this very game, not just another entry to the genre. They copied over almost every single bit of this game. No wonder given how much revenue swgoh drew at the time. Swgoh itself at launch wasn't a direct template copy of any other game though. Everything that went into it was iterated from CGs previous game and experience coming from there.
