That video was terrible strategy. You have to go after Y-Wing first. Biggs is no great tank without the protection recovery provided by the Y-Wing.
Also, daze is the way to shut that down, and the attacker used things like Anakin's AoE and Fives' special. These land debuffs. If they land debuffs, then you're more likely to go over the 2 debuff limit and get an auto-cleanse from MilFalc. You don't want that to happen.
Now, theoretically you can use Fives' special and Anakin's basic at the same time since they apply the same debuff, but the only advantage you get from Fives' special is when there is at least one non-targeted enemy ship with TargetLock. So if you're going to use it at all, it is best used on Fives' second turn, not his first.
Lastly, there is another ship that can cause AoE Daze: that's the Extinction Bomber.
If you're facing a Rebel fleet with Nego, you should minimize the debuffs you apply, use AoE daze as your first special, then bring in someone who isn't going to commit you to landing debuffs (Plo and Ahsoka are both fine), then bring in Extinction Bomber with 2nd reinforcement, then you can probably drop the Negotiator Ultimate. Last reinforcement is probably better off as Y-Wing than Rex or Sarge, but that's up to you.
In any case, the video is a clinic in what not to do against Rebels. They're a good fleet for sure, but if your rebel opponent hasn't relic'd Ackbar, Han, Chewie, and Biggs, then proper strategy should give you the advantage right away. I'm actually more worried about how Rebels fare against Malevolence now, since they'll be constantly cleansing the Overcharge stacks. It's not clear yet how that will work, but with no AoE Daze (without Extinction Bomber) and the auto-dispel, it looks like Rebels could be a(nother) Malevolence-killer.
