The farthest I've fallen is 22. But usually only to 10-14. I think it depends on how competitive your shard is if you want to try to hold on defense for payout. There are a lot of high powered teams with a payout 1 hour before mine. So I usually hover around in the t10 until my payout hour and try to squeeze in t5 if I have time.
I'm usually able to hover around 10-20 with my current Maul squad. I know the meta is shifting away from Maul, but I guess I don't have to consider switching just yet. The only reason I'm thinking of switching up my squads is the influx of zQGJ+R2 teams that I have trouble beating.
With R2 fitting into any team, zQGJ is a good investment. I had the same thought with Barriss. Jedi Luke will be here soon and you can only assume Jedi will be better off/have synergy with Luke who is certain to be meta.
