How does Traya one shotting GMY like butter not make foresight useless?
I don't really think that's a very good simile in this situation...
"This attack can't be evaded"....what does that do to a toon with already very low health/protection who relies on foresight?"swgohfan29;c-1588370" wrote:

i dont know? why are you throwing yoda at nest?
Nobody said throwing Yoda at Nest lol...you mustve missed the talk about Yoda aoe and Nest counters through foresight :D"DarkHelmet1138;c-1588371" wrote:
The same thing that it does to any attacker that is a glass cannon. It kills them. There are other ways around this. You could try using a tank to divert some of the damage. You could use a toon to get offense down on toons that are likely to one shot. Could put thrawn in your team and fracture high dmg toons. There are ways in other words. It is less broken then allowing some toons to have constant foresight and never able to take dmg or be killed which seems to be what you're suggesting.
Never suggested constant foresight...I only suggested that the mechanic actually work. Unavoidable attacks doesnt seem broken to you? That also makes it all the more easier for the AI on defense...has the luxury not to worry if an attack lands or not lol"swgohfan29;c-1588373" wrote:
Thats throwing yoda at nest.
in that sense yeah sure...don't see your point in regards to foresight lol- fyi....both Yodas are classed as support...neither are attackers, you may wanna check it haha

I was actually saying that one shotting like butter is not really a good metaphor. Butter doesn't one shot, and no one one shots butter, you can cut butter, but one-shotting it just sounds weird.
Traya shreds Yoda with her saber storm, whats the big deal. Vader's culling blade is unavoidable, Boba's execute is unavoidable. Traya rips through not squishy toons that don't rely on foresight with her saber storm.... That's not a Foresight issue, that's Traya.- kato77New Spectator

The point is that there are some toons that have foresight a lot and spread it. Gmy has foresight a lot with both zetas. He can also spread it to the whole team. Put in with some other toons that gain foresight easily, and you essentially have a team that can't be damaged. So there's a counter to that. It's irresistible attacks. And it is limited to only a few toons so foresight still has its uses and the toons that beat foresight can be beaten with other toons that can't beat a foresight team very easily. So in a way it creates a bit of a rock paper scissors situation. The problem is your trying to beat rock with scissors and complaining that it doesn't work. Instead you could just use paper.
It is hard explaining stuff to people who have no interest in listening, but you get an A for effort "Dunedain;c-1588406" wrote:

Numerous counters to foresight existed long before irresistible attacks became a super trend. Typically 4 out of 5 toons of the current meta have "This attack can't be evaded".... you've basically just made one mechanic obsolete with a new one, nothing more. you didnt get anywhere

you're giving an A for effort to someone who thought Yoda is classed as an Attacker and is talking about Rock-Paper-Scissor?... bravo :D"Vertigo;c-1588408" wrote:

That's a whole other discussion in itself lol...as someone mentioned earlier, poor ability kit planning by devs. They put themselves in that situation and the only way to say they "fixed" it is by irresistible attacks
