Account banned

I believe I was banned in error. My ally code is 487-426-685 and I unfortunately don't know my player ID but my account was thoughtsfromanewt. The ban message says for repeat offences but I don't believe I have ever violated the terms of service nor have I ever received a warning for a previous violation. I don't use the in game chat, I don't use an emulator, I don't cheat, and the only external tools I use are swgoh.gg, hotbot and a gear tracker which are widely used by players. I submitted a message to CG_lucifersdaddy but have not heard back. I'd like to know why I was banned and to have the ban reversed.

  • I followed that article and the support there said they couldn't help me and told me to message CG_LucifersDaddy which I already did 2 days ago and I have not received a response. Is there a way to know if my message has been recieved?

    The best I can suggest is that you submit a dispute with the instructions in the article I linked previously.

  • I'm in the same boat. Banned and I don't know why. I tried following the directions in the app to msg Lucifer_Daddy on the forums. No response. Looked into it and his/her profile shows that it hasn't been active in 2 years. Tried going through the link you posted contacting EA. They send an automated response to msg Lucifer_Daddy also. Looks like they can just ban you for no reason and intentionally give you a dead end so they don't have to deal with you. Spent probably thousands of dollars on this game because my son and I enjoyed working together on it. This is the craziest customer support I've ever seen. I can't believe the official instructions after a ban is to msg an abandoned user account. Has CG or EA not checked first to confirm that the person they are referring everyone to still works for them?

    I believe CG_Leviathan is the main contact for bans. Even though they show as inactive on the forums, they pick up all messages through email.
  • @ChristophIV Well I hope so but I'm not holding my breath. Already been waiting two weeks. I'm fine moving on from the game but my son doesn't understand what happened and why we can't play anymore.
