App Crashes with latest update

Same problem here. An uninstall/reinstall gets me in, but it crashes again a few minutes later and won’t restart.

CG must be performing an OS based “squish” on its player base.

Why is CG doing nothing about this? No comments, nothing. 

Anyone got a fix for this yet?

It’s related to the in game audio.

Delete the game, then reinstall it. Make sure you don’t have any other audio (music/audiobook/etc…) playing at the same time when you start the game or it will crash. The game will only load if it is the sole producer of audio on your device. If I try loading the game while having a radio station playing on my phone, it makes a weird static sound and shuts the game down.

When you do get back into the game, DO NOT CHANGE THE IN-GAME Music & Sound Effects settings. Turning them off will make the game crash on any subsequent loadings of the game until you delete it and reinstall.  Just put your phone on silent mode instead and leave external audio sources off and the game should work consistently until CG addresses this a month or so later 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Am I overthinking this? When I am asked to “delete app“ from my phone, I am concerned that I will lose all my characters, squads, and ranking that I’ve been working on since 2016.
