Bug in Conquest

I'm unable to progress in the Conquest because of a bug. 

In Sector 5, during the normal conquest, R2D2 uses the "Smoke Screen" ability during the battle, disappears, and the game freezes, running time until the battle ends. I tried three times and the same bug occurred. I just wasted energy, and now I can't progress.

How do you solve the problem? And what about the energy wasted?
