Debuff cleansing is broken for a lot of characters

I just did my daily Squad Arena battle, GL Rey against JMK+Plo DC. As per Rey's Leadership Ability, any Inspired Light Side ally dispels all debuffs on themselves when they use a Basic Ability during their turn. Rey and JKL both had Ability Block, both were Inspired, both used their Basic Ability during their turn, nothing happened, the Ability Block was still there.
