Game freezes after taking out Knightfall trooper in Conquest

In conquest Hard mode, sector 1 going against Tarkin team, when taking out Knightfall trooper, the game freezes. Tried 3 times already. Basically all the attack buttons disappear, no character does anything, when time runs out it does not save the results and stays on the battle screen, no "defeat" banner appears. Only thing possible to do is forfeit, fix the issue and if possible reimburse for lost energy.
