GL Ahsoka Tano Ultimate causes matches to time out in GAC

This is the second time this has happened to me. in 5v5 Grand Arena: using GL Ahsoka's ultimate ability causes turns to not cycle in GAC. In my most recent match, the enemy Krrsantan used an ability, and the game never cycled to the next unit's turn.

I was not able to finish the match and it timed out. I was able to press the Auto, Settings, Chat, Buffs, and other buttons, but the game never cycled past the enemy turn. I was relegated due to losing the GAC match as well. The game did not technically crash or freeze as it still functioned without ever changing the turn over to the next character.

In-game EA help was entirely unhelpful, and among other things, suggested I create a new account to replicate the issue, and also suggested I play with strong internet connection. They then abandoned the ticket, just as they had the last time I reported this error in game.

I am playing the game on an Android phone.

Is there a fix for this issue, or anything that can be done?
