Legacy Datacron Issue?

I’ve returned to the game after 2+ years and I’m having issues i’ve never experienced that I believe are tied back to old datacrons. 

When I choose a battle in squad arena, my arena squad is preloaded and a loading bubble pops up and i’m locked out of any actions until I restart the game. It happens before I can clear or edit the squad.

With the new TW started, i’m now able to recreate the issue by assigning one of my old datacrons from 2+ years ago (which causes the loading bubble to pop up and lock me out of actions until I restart). The datacron menu in TW appears bugged. When i go to the normal datacron inventory menu, I only show 3 new datacrons that do not show as options in my TW selection. I believe squad arena is likely triggered by something similar where the system likely sees an old datacron and doesn’t know what to do so it locks up. Fleet arena works fine.

I have a ticket open but no luck so far as uninstalling the app (ios), restarting the game, and trying different devices doesn’t fix the issue.
