Missing MODS/Omegas after LSB purchase. ANGRY!

This is a bit lengthy and I apologize in advance. My frustration level with CG is at a 10/10. This started yesterday when I purchased the 3 light speed bundles that were available. I did receive them all but I had most of the characters already with MODS and omegas. After the purchase, all of the original upgrades were gone.

I first tried in-game help but it is VERY difficult to get someone who understands the game. There is clearly a language barrier thing going on. Despite that, I tried my best to tell them what was happening and they kept asking me for proof of purchase. I uploaded the apple invoices 4 times. Then they would respond with, "You have your characters." Of course I have the characters. I'm not disputing that. They could not understand that upgrades to the original characters are supposed to remain. 

After several hours of this, I went over to the help.ea.com site and tried there. At least it automatically issues a ticket. I did chat with someone there that could at least identify with the issue and they said they would submit it and get it taken care of.

Today, I logged in to see that my ticket had been CLOSED, and the reason was NO FIX.  Okay, if there is no way to fix it, how do you compensate the player for over 100 omegas and I don't even know how many MODS. I mean, they are all there in my hotutils account. 

I'm super discouraged and let me just finish with this. I play the game a lot. I'm a retired old guy and spend at least 5k a month on this game. None of that matters. It seems everyone gets the same treatment and that is fine. There are plenty of games out there. This just seemed like an easy fix or at least an easy compensation-type claim. 

P.S. In case anyone cares: yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have the same results on IOS as I do on the PC version which I also use. I've bought plenty of LSBs in the past and never had an issue.

  • I am having a similar issue with their support. Mine is regards to a purchase I made on the 19th and 20th. Both purchases were $49.99 packs for crystals. I recieved only one set of crystals. I have tried in game support and the online chat. There is definetly a language issue. I have 6 reponses from the in game support all with the same canned response "Please follow the link and upload proof". I have done this several times. The latest response I got this morning says that they are closing the case because they show only records of the 20th purchase and not the 19th. So from their point of view, they can't see the purchase I made on the 19th even though I uploaded proof of the purchase. The online web chat people tell me that they are only front line people and all they can do is add notes to my case.

      LSBs would not remove any Omegas, or Mods from your characters. We tested this multiple times and confirmed it when LSBs were released:

      Further details: 

      Each bundle is focused on 1 character from the Journey Guide and helps players complete their requirements. 
      Eligible for offer: Must be level 85 
      All Units will be granted at 7 Stars, level 85, and Ability Tier 7: 
      7-stars (will not award 330 shards) 
      No impact to units already at 7-stars 
      Units with more than 330 shards but not promoted yet are promoted to 7-stars with extra shards turned into SSC 

      Those characters will be set to Relic 5 and you will not receive any gear or relic materials directly. Both Ships and Characters will have all their Abilities set to Tier 7. This will have no impact on units already at or above Ability Level 7.
