Not able to log in

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Unable to log into my account. It keeps taking me to some fresh account. I have reinstalled the game multiple times and cleared the cache multiple times. It never connects to my Google play account. I don't have the option of changing the account anywhere in game. I have looked under settings and I believe I am missing some settings that would allow me to do that. I have also confirmed that other games on my phone work by launching them. They also connect to my account.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure that's why I'm contacting you.

  • Thank you for responding. I unfortunately have tried all of those steps except the logging out of the game. I don't have that function anywhere in the game to log out. I have also spoke with EA help support and they told me to contact the developer in-game. I have used the help option under settings to contact them, but I have yet to hear back yet. 

  • EA help support had me contact the developer via the help button in the game. Any idea what the average response time is? 

  • This exact thing has happened to me did you fix it ? Ea just don't help just automated robot crap

    This started happening to me as well on random updates starting with the Jabba one. Arbitrarily kicks me over to an old clash of clans account. I've found I often have to uninstall and reinstall to get the logout ability.

  • I have also had this problem. It happened last year, have Uninstaller and reinstalled the game by itself, and also did that when I cleared the cache of the game from my phone as directed by support. I also took the linked account off of my Google account as directed by support and re added it to my Google account, Uninstaller and reinstalled, nothing. Support told me that there was nothing to do. I reached out to the support in game, never heard back. I have my player ID and ally code for my proper account, but I have yet to get any help either. 

  • You need to open the Google Play Games app. (Google Play Games is a separate app than Google Play). If you don't have Google Play Games then install it from the Google Play Store. Then Library -> swgoh -> 3 dots -> settings. Check to make sure it's connected to your Google account.You can also go to "Change account for games" then click "Change" and try changing the default account to one of the other options.

  • happens to me every now and then => usually resetting all game data via app settings solves it. 
    If not, Google Play Games data reset and at some point it tries to connect to google play again. 

    Looks like an issue with swgoh though since no other app has the kind of problem.
