Razor crest always applies breach with his special

Thank you for sharing your findings. We tried to replicate your report on our site, but we couldn't find any problems. 

Well, it is the base yes, but the reason it is relevant is bc the stats on the ships that I’ve checked wouldn’t change it from the base as the potency is less than my ships’ tenacity. As for not finding the issue, I’m afraid there’s not much I can tell you aside from it’s not supposed to always apply. I don’t know why you’re not seeing it, but I know something is definitely wrong.

@TricksterLL It's the chance to resist that you are calculating, not the chance to apply.

For example, my Xanadu Blood has a Tenacity of 65% and my Razor Crest has 52% Potency. 65 - 52 = 13% chance to resist, adjusted to the 15% minimum. This means Razor Crest will apply Breach 85% (100 - 15) of the time against Xanadu Blood. 

It's going to be really hard to make a case that the RNG isn't working based on a few case examples. Even with only an 85% apply chance, you can still have huge streaks of it never getting resisted. You will need an awful lot of recorded data to say it isn't working.

Well, even if it isn’t something wrong, it definitely changed in that update. I actually don’t remember having rc cleanse before that update. I just assume it’s happened occasionally. But now it ruins ~50% of my executor mirror matches in fleet arena. And that still holds true. Haven’t seen defense rc fail to breach yet, but I have seen my rc fail to breach since this post.

Again, that's anecdotal, and you are maybe having bad luck but it's nothing to do with the update. I am still having my RC stick Breach and cleanse regularly.

Well, perhaps it’s anecdotal, but I have seen a massive change in how my battles go. And it is highly unlikely to have such a sudden, massive change right after an update that is not related to the update. It’s either something fixed or broken, but there is no doubt in my mind that something changed.
