Re: Grand Arena rewards incorrect

Hi @Artifact_Mallers and thank you for the report.

We've checked our logs for the recently finished Grand Arena and it looks like your opponent had a different score. We flagged this for further investigation now.

    Hi - I had exactly the same issue as the starter of this thread: won final GA battle sonshould have come first overall; instead got rewards for 😇 losing that battle and (b) second place overall. My player ID is [Player ID removed].

    Thanks for your attention to this matter.

    Hi @JieRhe,

    Please don't post your player ID here (for account security reasons. In addition, it did not bring up an account. Your ally code is more than sufficient, so if you can provide it, we can have a look.

    @JieRhe Your opponent had indeed a higher score and won that round, therefore the message that you came in second is correct, the system was simply unable to pull the score of your opponent into the message.

    How's the Investigation going? When do I get my items that I was shorted. 

    Check my account, I'm not f2p. Fix it.

    Every investigation they've done so far seems to indicate that players who get this message actually lost the round, but their opponent score is incorrectly sent as a 0, rather than the higher score it actually was. This will likely be the case for you as well.

    Just saying, it appears to be a message but, but so far everyone has received the correct actual rewards.

    Hi @Artifact_Mallers and sorry for the delay.

    We've checked our internal logs and it appears that you've lost the 3rd round and therefore received 2nd place rewards correctly. Your opponent conquered your ship territory and defeated 6 of your squads in the first attempt, whereby you did only defeat 4 of his squads and no ships.

    @EA_HighCommand  [Edit - Admin.] You are just trying to close cases. I was online watching the timer end. Pathetic. Did you check my purchase history? Check it again in 6 months. I won't buy another gem. [Edit - Admin.]

    @EA_HighCommand  don't edit me. All I did was call you a liar. Which you are. Look at the time stamps. We're you looking at the correct Grand Arena? Because you drug your feet so long on this issue, another GA came and went. 

    This issue is not resolved. Never will be. I will continue to reopen it until you cave.

    HighCommand didn’t edit your post, it was done by a forum admin named EA_Barry. You can tell because it says so in your post. Using this forum means you agree to abide by the forum rules, which include being polite and respectful (and thus not calling people names).     The unfortunate reality is that according to their logs, you lost. No amount of your opening new posts or tickets will change reality. Just because you have spent money in the past, does not mean QA support will turn a loss into a win for you.

    @Artifact_Mallers Nevertheless, I volunteer here to help, and will continue adding my “two cents.”

    What I saw was a player who violated forum rules and threatened to continue doing so ad nauseum until they get what they want. I assume that this player doesn’t understand the rules. Surely a player like this would benefit from additional information, because I will assume positive intent and believe those statements were made out of ignorance and not maliciousness. Perhaps this player doesn’t understand that forum infractions will escalate, perhaps to the point of being banned.

    The more time HighCommand spends responding to posts like this, the less time they spend actually investigating game bugs or helping players who were negatively impacted by a bug. According to the logs, you weren’t negatively impacted. You got the rewards you should have received. It *is* case closed. Sorry you don’t like that, but the nature of life is that sometimes things happen that we don’t like.
