Original Sims crashing

anyone having trouble with their original sims game? Mine opens and minimizes its self over adn over and over to where its unplayable. I have repaired it, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing is working. Help needed!

    BTW still haven't been able to play the game and it's been 2mths since purchasing...seems to be another EA money grab.

    I have the exact same issue. I press play in the EA App, the Game starts, but before it is done loading it crashes.

    Also having this issue. JUST purchased through Steam and nothing I do will open it...
