Please EA, fix the 1080 UI scaling bug already

/title.

Seriously, how many posts have to be written, and how many screenshots do you need, to acknowledge this bug?

Look at the scale of the UI in every resolution except when running 1080p native desktop.
In fact, here's an idea!:

Take some screenshots in-game (not in the neighborhood).
Got that? Good.

Now, set your desktop to 1080p (if you don't run 1080p natively) and run up The Sims 1 Legacy.
Now take another screenshot in the game (not in the neighbourhood).

Keeping up so far? Excellent.

Now, compare the screenshots and look at the UI scale on the 1080p screenshot.
Oh gosh look - it's much smaller huh! Who would've thought!

😳

From the neighborhood screen, I have to squint to see the houses. The entire thing takes up an area the size of my hand in the middle of the screen when I have the whole screen otherwise black. I've played with the zoom function changed my resolution and it does...nothing.

In a house, I can see somewhat better but the UI is so tiny that the only reason why I know what I am clicking on is because I played the game 20 years ago. I cannot any details of walls or items until I place them. This is absurd.

The Windows 150% Zoom function does nothing to the size of the font, nor the size of the UI, in The Sims 1 Legacy unfortunately.

Wrong. The UI scales correctly at 720p and 1440p. It's too small at 1080p and needs to be fixed.

The needs bar is bigger at 1440p. You need a bigger resolution to get that

1080p is a smaller resolution. That's why! You could go in the Windows settings and use 150% Zoom if u want

Have a look at all 3 of the screenshots on this post.

Notice the small scale of the UI in the '1080p..png' pic compared to the other two?
And the maximum zoom-in distance of that, compared to the other two??

    That's the issue.

I own both a 1080p monitor, and a 1440p monitor. There's nothing wrong with 1080p. It looks perfect! So I'm not sure why people are complaining about that resolution 🤔

EA, we can see that you absolutely have the means to change the scale of the UI, as demonstrated when running the game in any desktop resolution other than 1080p..

I can only assume that you believe the scale of the UI in 1080p is perfect and doesn't need enlarging, despite all the posts requesting otherwise?

Can you please scale up the UI when running on a 1080p native desktop to be the same scale as the UI is when running at every other resolution?

What am I missing here? 🤷
