Create-a-Sim UI scales poorly + too zoomed in on Sim

Per screenshots, the Create-a-Sim looks pretty bad currently:

  • UI is blown up and has poor resolution (if it looks blurry at 1080p, 4K must look even worse)
  • Camera is too zoomed in on Sims
    • Notice how the top of their heads gets cut off, so you can't fully see their haircuts when choosing them.
    • Same applies to their feet/shoes, the UI covers it completely so it's hard to see the shoes when choosing an outfit.
  • UI covers Sims' right side partially, even though there's plenty of free space at the right side of the screen that could be used for it.
  • Hi all,

This was resolved in today's patch:

    • The CAS UI does not scale/arrange well on displays with extreme aspect ratios (e.g. ultra-wide displays)

If you're still experiencing this issue, please create a new post so we can continue to investigate. Thanks!

Yeah, it's the same for me and I'm not very happy about it. I'm playing at 1080p as well.

If you turn your sim to face the right, the UI covers parts of their face. Not exactly ideal if you like going in-depth with CAS customisation.

I have seen images of the UI scaled correctly with the use of mods, so we know it's possible to have the columns be on the far right side of the screen. I really hope they'll include a fix for this in the patch they're currently working on.
