Entire Neighborhood deleted

Have been playing since Patch 2. Everything was ok. Today as I load up the game, I notice pleasantview is missing all the subhoods I had added. Odd. Upon load it regenerated the Neighborhood from scratch as if I had never opened the game. I've lost 5 or so lots worth of progress ,and since the documents folder gets replaced there's no way to recover it. This sucks
